Yeah I'll be there. Karlin I wouldn't get too excited unless you want to see other bands. While it's nice she will be playing to a packed house, I'm not really a huge fan of these multi venue festivals.
Never the less I'm pretty excited since it's been forever since I've seen her play.

well my intentions are pretty selfish considering my roommate/best buddy moved out there to work for much music and i have yet to check out her new digs. therefore I could kill two birds with one stone in this case.

Come for the festival (the rest is not that good imo) Hopefully OOOM will screen again which I guess it almost certainly will. |

this living in another continent thing really has its major downs.
i could probably consider it, if it were in may or june, not march, since i'm gonna be flying up to miami then.

So the show was great. Ran a little late. I think they ended up cutting one song from the set. I have never seen the horseshoe that packed. Tons of people even at the back. Just getting out after was hard. There was obviously lots of people for different bands, but a lot of people were there for Melissa. I thought people would move after the previous band and I could go up front but no such luck. Intro Real a Lie Father's Grave - I think this song I had never heard prior Lead Horse I Need I Want I Will Out Of Our Minds 22 Below Followed The Waves Probably the best I've seen her with the new band. As I couldn't get close and left my zoom lens at home I just got a couple of dark pics    |
